The project for the new sewerage network system interests seven small rural villages on Jabal Al Akhdar, in the northern area of Dakhiliyah Region, about 35 km from Nizwa and 60 km from Bahla.

The villages are not yet equipped with a dynamic sewerage network (except for a part of Bani Habib village, with vacuum system) but with a scattered septic tanks or dispersant tanks for each house or agglomerate of houses. Authorities have wisely decided to work in order to normalize the sewerage system assigning this Engineering Consultancy Services for the Design of Sewerage Network System.

- To reduce the pollution of soil, groundwater and surface water;
- To reduce the use of freshwater for irrigation (reuse of Treated Effluent);
