The project concerns a dual carriageway mountainous road with 2 tunnels each 0.5 km long (the first tunnels ever constructed in UAE) and the relevant mechanical and electrical equipment, two roundabouts and excavation of very steep rock slopes improved by means of bolt nets, and protection barriers.
