Since its construction the Al Hilah Castle was divided into two spaces with different connotation: the Mosque courtyard considered as a public space and the private area of the Sheikh residence.

The museological – museographic proposal present first visit to the castle as a “museum of itself’ then present two areas: “Daily Life in the Castle” and “Life in the Oasis”.

The “Daily Life in the Castle” is presented in buildings (B2, B4, B5, B6, B7) located in the private area of Sheikh (Family house, Sheik’s house, Servants / Staff house, Treasure room, Majlis); The “Life in the Oasis” is presented in buildings B8, B9 and tower B10.
